$500,000 raised for the first eye hospital in rural Bangladesh.

During 2006, The Green Children Foundation has raised $500,000 for the first eye care hospital in rural Bangladesh. The hospital is due to be completed in March next year and will serve 50,000 people a year, 10,000 of which will receive the vital cataracts operation and escape from a life of blindness.
